Lawn & Landscape Sprinkler Irrigation & Lighting Technician

You will work with irrigation components, diagnosing, repairing and installing all forms of underground sprinkler system components. You will be required to prepare work sheets for billing and communicate easily with clients and staff. You will also need to be able to work independently or with a team. This is a hands on service technician position. Mechanical skills are necessary. Experience is an asset, however, we will provide training. Responsibilities for This Position

  • Drivers license is required. As a service technician, you will be traveling in our company vehicle from client to client. Vehicles are equiped with GPS to assist you in locating properties.
  • Mechanical skills. You will be analyzing problems and repairing broken lawn sprinkler components. We supply the latest electronic equipment to assist you in your work.
  • Hands on work. Attention to detail is required when installing lawn sprinkler timers or running control wires in clients homes. You will also need to dig up and repair sprinkler parts that are underground.
  • Organization skills. Preparing paper work for invoicing of the work you perform.
  • Communication skills. You will need to work with clients to listen to what their problems are and explain the repairs needed to solve their issues.
  • Experience is helpful but not required. This can be an entry-level position that will include training.

Project Manager


Bellantoni Landscape, a leading landscape company located in White Plains, NY, is actively searching for a talented Project Manager who has a proven track record of success in managing multiple projects. Work with both Residential and Commercial customers, on specific projects that may include landscape management services plus installation of landscapes, irrigations systems, and hardscapes.  Also assist with seasonal snow operations.

Responsibilities for This Position

  • 5+ years of strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects and crews while hitting the forecasted gross profit margins
  • Instruct, direct, and monitor staff in providing materials, directions, tools, and logistical support to the field in order to maximize output per labor hour.
  • Motivate staff, maintain high employee morale and employee retention
  • Promote new business and upgrading of existing projects and agreements by instructing and directing staff to generate and report leads and sales opportunities.

Plant Health Care Specialists


We are seeking Plant Health Care Specialists with flexibility to cross train into our different divisions. This is a working position that requires extensive field time treating properties and diagnosing problems. You will work for a company where implementing the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment is an everyday occurrence.

Responsibilities for This Position

  • The care and development of trees, ornamental plants and lawns on client landscapes
  • Monitor, diagnose and treat insect, disease, physiological and cultural conditions
  • Select the most appropriate product or treatment to be utilized for each problem
  • Complete diagnostic reports, interact with clients in a professional manner, and provide comprehensive, thorough information to create an ideal environment for optimum health of landscapes.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations

  1. NY & CT Pesticide Applicator’s License
  2.  Two year degree in agronomics, arboriculture, horticulture (or related field), or minimum three years industry/field experience
  3. Knowledge of tree & shrub species adapted to temperate zones 4 and 6 and native to Eastern U.S.(i.e. Red Maple, Sugar Maple, Hemlock, White Pine, Birch)
  4. Agronomic background in turf
  5. Ability to diagnose problems that are physiologically based and/or stress related; anticipate what will occur under specific conditions (i.e. soil conditions, climate); identify stresses and proactively implement solutions
  6. Must be able to work independently and be self-directed.
  7. Excellent communication skills and willingness to interact graciously with the general public, especially with individuals who are “environmentally aware”.
